1-2 weeks wait ?

did some one order ipad in last one week or so ? i want to order one but is says 1-2 weeks wait on apple.com .... i wanted to know if this 1-2 week wait is actually less then that or should i just do a pickup at apple store...

Def pick up at apple store. They have plenty of models to choose from and it's easier to exchange than shipping it back and forth to Apple.

i wanted to buy it online .. so i can get 5% from discovercard.com .. am hoping its valid if i buy online and pickup in store...
