hey.. i went to the apple store the other day.

next to a new powermac there was a sign that said "1.25 GHZ Mac" and when going to the system profiler, it said it was 1 ghz.

However, if you look at the back of the mac it says "1 GHZ Powermac" ... they indeed do not have the 1.25 powermac on display..

just wanted to clarify.. causa all those rumors about overclocking, etc..

It's probably those silly apple employees posting signs for computers they don't even know they don't have in stock yet.

i'm sure they just put the signs there with the dp 1GHz because they don't have dp 1.25GHz anywhere yet...no one can get them...not even the stores...but they have to advertise it somehow..

...duh...
