iPod $1.29 Songs

My local news said iTunes would be charging $1.29 for the majority of songs soon, I hope this isn't true. I knew the new 3 tier pricing structure would be starting but I could of swore Apple said there would be more songs at $0.69 than at the higher prices.

If the majority of their songs will be $1.29 each then I won't be buying my music from iTunes anymore.

New songs will be 1,29$, the older ones will be cheaper. Personally I don't mind this raise in price, I still find it a bargain in comparision to the price I used to pay for vinyl 30 years ago and for CD's later on.
Also I like the comfort of buying individuel songs.

Whatever garbage is in the charts will cost $1.29, good songs will cost $.99 or $.69.
