Is this a "no brainer "upgrade? Or is there any advantage is keeping the default resolution? (Can't think of any as it can always be set lower right?).

Is it strange that they didn't make the higher res standard and just bump the price?

They wan't money... For me high res would be no brainer, it's only 100$ more but gives you 36% more pixels

could someone explain the difference please ? I mean is it just the resolution or also the screen is bigger ?

for 90€ I'd go for the higher resolution even if im not a pro user.

Personally I think it's perfect. The 15" needed a little more res and combine that with the anti-glare you've got a perfect combo. I'll eventually get one but only after I see that the new graphics isn't creating a heat issue. Love the new MBP's but my only concern is the heat.

I would have prefered antiglare but I dont like the silver frame around the screen on the antiglare config.
