My G5 suddenly won't start.
1.6Ghz/80/768, etc, etc

I was burning a CD in toast and it screwed up the CD; just spooling up then down, up then down. I aborted the burn, but the app still wouldn't quit so I held the power button for 5 seconds.

Now it does the start up chime but no video and no disk activity. I cannot boot off a CD, nor can I reset the PRAM. Also, if I just leave it, the fans get faster and faster and louder like an airplane taking off.

Can anyone please help .. I have to burn a CD of a something within the next hour!

Nevermind, got it fixed.
I unplugged all peripherals except for ethernet, keyboard & mouse. Booted off the CD and it appeared to be OK.

Hope this helps anyone else who has this problem in the future.
