1.7 ghz i7 or 2.4 ghz i5 13 inch mbp

I will use this for general work/personal stuff. At times I need to log into my work pc using GoToMyPC. I do minimal illustrator work.

I am going to get 16 gb ram and 512 storage. I will most likely only fill up half of the 512 but id rather not have to worry.

Which is the better processor? The 1.7 has 2 thunderbolts and the 2.4 has 4, and im not sure if that makes a difference.

Which one should i get?

Faster SSD, wifi, graphics, and the two extra ports.

I would choose 2.4 that also has 2 fans than 1 fan in 1.4
