It seems enclosures for 1.8 SSDs are just not manufactured by anyone? I think I saw just one in newegg and it's usb 2.0.

I have two Intel G2 SSDs (from an old HP laptop) that I've love to use externally with my MBP. So far I've been wrapping them in "adapter enclosures" and then using enclosures for 2.5 drives. I guess they work fine but it would be nice to actually take advantage of the smaller form factor for better portability. A raid enclosure would be nice actually. But I am not really seeing anything made for these small drives. I guess this size was really never adopted by many? I mean these drives are more than 3 years old already.

This guy has some

It doesn't have a proper usb 3.0 socket though, so it might be worth emailing the seller to make sure.

Over here they sell them from a German company called delock, which look a bit better.
