1.8" external FireWire enclosure

I ordered the New Ibook with free Ipod...

I currently own a Dell DJ 15 gig... I was considering taking it apart and using the 1.8" Hitachi HD as an external firewire drive.... Anyone know where i can get and 1.8" firewire enclosure? I can only find USB 2.0 and from what I understand you can't boot from USB right?

you may find a dead ipod on ebay that you can put the drive in assuming it fits, as long as you can get a firewire cable with it
