Hello I have a original 1.83 MBP, The Left fan is completely dead. Ive checked a few places(ifixit,powerbook medic) and its running about 50$. Im planning on replacing the laptop in like 3 months. Are there any better places to buy from? I would even take a used one if it worked ok. Thanks!

Try ebay or your local Apple repair center. I bought a fan for an early 2008 MBP for around $30 at my local repair center.
