I have a single faulty key (F5) on my Macbook Pro, the key and the scissor connector are all fine but i get no response from pressing the key, nor pressing the rubber connector when the keycap is removed.

I think this may have been caused by a small amount of liquid getting under the key ( tiny amount only ) but are there any suggestions of what i can do please, I would hate to think its a new keyboard for just one key.

Just a thought I am new to Mac's but can I reassign the volume up function to another key ???

Any help greatly appreciated

I have the same problem.

Hello, what do you did to solve the problem with the faulty key.

check upper righthand corner next to Airport, there is a volume adjuster
