Wow, thank you for posting this on here. I have owned PNY memory on my XP deskptop for over 3 years now and it has been great. If you can buy this for your Macbook Pro, I encourage you to do so.

EDIT: Holy crap! Dumb me -- I thought Apple made the 1GB of RAM as two 512MB sticks... just popped the machine and saw that one of the memory slots was empty! My lucky day!
 
two sticks required?

got 2 x 256 in my MP. Apple recommends 2 sticks of the same type. Is this true or can I stick a 1GB ram stick and leave the remaining 256 stick? thx.
 
This will work for a normal core duo macbook right? A quick answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
Compusa price match with a $30 rebate!

FYI, went into BestBuy and was sold out. Walked over to Compusa with a print of the web ad and they honored the price with rebate ($89-$30 rebate).This put the total price at $60!
 
I bought two of these and had them put in the Mac mini I purchased today, so yep, they'll work with one :) .
