I exported my 5 minute long video in iMovie using quicktime because according to youtube, it helps solve or prevent video/audio sync issues.

However I found that this takes a significantly longer exporting time, as mentioned in the title, it took 1 hour. :(

What seems to be the problem here?

Here are the settings I chose:

compression: H.264
quality: high
frame rate: 25fps
encoding mode: multi-pass
dimensions: 720x576 (768x576)​

iMovie '09
Macbook Pro 13-inch
Mac osx Leopard Version 10.6.8
 
I upload straight to YouTube, always have done. No sync issues for me?
