1 pad double headsets or ear plugs

Wife & I will be going on a long flight later next month and would like to watch a few movies to pass the time on the iPad is there anyway to have two sets of headphones or ear plugs connected at the same time? Right now I don't even have any so what's a good kind to use with the iPad? Wired, BT, etc...

You need ones with good noise canceling for the plane! I'd imagine you'd be fine with a regular splitter, and two pairs of good Sony NC headphones.
