So this might be a dumb question but only one of my speakers seems to work. If you are looking straight on to the speaker and the usb port the speaker on the right is the only speaker that works when I play videos, music, games. It sounds fine but if I am holding it in my hand it'll get covered up and I lose sound. Is this something that all iphones do? Should I take it to apple and see if they can fix it?

There is only one speaker. The other grille is the microphone. I'm afraid you're going to get a lot of snarky responses, as this is a very commonly asked question and there's a sticky about it at the top of this forum.

It's because it only HAS one speaker. The other one is a microphone :)

I am actually surprised that no one gave a snarky remark, It's not bad that no one did but definitely a change for these forums.

but all the above posters are correct.

After this weekend, I think we are just happy to see a post that is not about how the new samsung phone is our saviour come to take us all home. Or about how iOS is as archaic as windows 3.0....

So sick of those I welcome the all the silly "only one speaker works" questions!

Ah yes, the old one speaker question. All is well.... :)
The forum is back in order.

So sick and tired of the trolls lately...

I could sense that there was that feeling on this forum so I said, you know what eff it I'm gonna post this question! I did it for you guys. :D
