Hey guys, I have an Mac Pro 1,1 with an upgraded video card (don't remember the model number, but it's the one that works with the 1,1.), a Macbook Pro with Thunderbolt, and a TB Cinema Display. Is it possible to use a Mini Display cable from the Mac Pro to the Cinema Display, and then the power/TB cable to the laptop? I typically do photo editing on my laptop, but I still prefer the Mac Pro for video stuff. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Is connecting the two via Ethernet and using something like TeamViewer a possibility? I did this for a while with my MBP and a windows comp for a while. Wasn't quite 'sharing' the TB Cinema Display but it worked well. I was only using the windows comp for HandBrake and the sort so nothing critical like editing ... Still it was very responsive at full res and optimized for quality in the TeamViewer settings.

No, this won't work, and screen sharing will neither be fast enough nor provide any color accuracy to be useful.
