This may be something I did a long time ago and might be "normal" or merely annoying to my OCD brain. LOL

Is there an explanation why I'm seeing the following when I look at my storage info? I'm not familiar with why I am seeing 2 volume names.

It's just the way that Catalina now displays it.

This is normal with macOS Catalina. The OS is now kept in a separate, read-only volume. This Apple article explains: https://support.apple.com/HT210650

The only difference is that your system volume (athuddriver-Cat) has "-Cat" at the end. If the drive prior to Catalina had been named "athuddriver" you should have had a system volume named "athuddriver" and a data volume "athuddriver - Data." Perhaps you renamed it at some point?

I've slept since then. LOL Perhaps I had named the drive -CAT to reflect it was a Catalina OS backup before I upgraded to the newer MBP I now own and forgot that.

THANKS!
