1 week applecare left

all of a sudden i noticed my late 08 mbp trackpad isn't clicking properly. i have applecare but didn't know how much so i looked it up and it ends on the end of next week. i made an appointment for this weekend to have it looked at.

i have never taken a mbp in only iphones what can i expect?
