Is it possible to get a 1-Year iPhone contract on Verizon? They offer 1-year contracts for every other phone (I got a one year contract for my Droid) for an extra $70 so the price comes out to $269. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this for an iPhone? Thanks.

I read on one of these sites here that you can call Verizon and for $100 have your contract changed to one year, but you have to ask for it. Not sure if it was true or not, but you should probably ask them.

I'm assuming it's because Apple charges very near full retail price for the iPhone to be sold through the carriers. Verizon offering a one year contract for only a slight amount higher would probably break them even on your subsidy. So, really, they wouldn't be making a good amount of money to do only a one year option.
