Assuming a 2 year contract with Verizon or AT&T for a new subsidized phone cost $200.

Would you pay $400 for a subsidized phone on a 1 year contract which would allow you to get a new phone each year?

What would be the pros and cons of this option?

Would the service providers make more or less money with the 1 year option?

I have never heard this mentioned, I'm just curious!

I have to check but with my FAN, not sure if it still exists.... On primary line you are/ were able to get 1 year contract at $100 over 2 year contract pricing.
