10.0.2 lock up error experienced

downloaded ios 10.0.2 on a iPhone5 32G with success. Later in the day noticed the physical key positions not matching up to the visual positions. Unable to enter the initial security code. 4example depress the '1' key actually entered the '5' key thus unable to get into the phone.

fix; do a Microsoft reset on the effected iPhone5:
depress the home key + the power off key till you see a apple logo
