10.10 and outlook.com

For some reasons, I am unable to configure built in apps (mail, calendar, notes etc) to work with my outlook.com account in 10.9. It seems like it just does not work, but it works great on iPhone/iPad. Has any improvement been made in the 10.10 mail app for this matter? Thanks
