10.13.4 on late-2013 rMBP 13"?

Hi folks, 1st post here -- I have a late-2013 rMBP 13", currently running 10.12.6, and would like to know of any problems / experiences encountered in upgrading this specific machine to 10.13.4.

My regular use includes an external monitor, FCPX, Photoshop, various browsers and MS Office 2016.

BTW, is HS really needed to import 4K60fps HEVC and HEIF from an iPhone 8 plus, or is there some way to do so in 10.12.6 without losing quality?
