10.13.6 DisplayLink Driver mirrors USB - HDMI only

This is a gofanco USB 3.0 to HDMI/DVI Video Adapter. I have it to the point where the USB monitor can mirror one of the other displays but I want it as an extended display. The gofanco drivers didn't work but referred me to the DisplayLink site and I downloaded 4.3.1 to get to this point.

The documentation is horrible and I think that there's some kind of AirPlay workaround but I haven't found good directions to get things to work.
