10.14.1 my iMac still very slow on boot

After upgrading to 10.14 my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5 with fusion drive seems to take for ever at each boot.

I also noticed that ofter after I boot the iMac in the morning, is my workstation, Safari seems to star without a cache.

Any way to fix? Is Apple working on this?
