As of 10.4.2 a bug seems to have been introduced. Local servers connected to the network are having difficulty showing up in the sidebar. Under "locations" in the Finder sidebar "Network" icon appears and disappears. My Drobo 5N2 NAS also no longer appears. One can view the "Network" icon by going into the "Computer" home directory where it shows "Macintosh HD" and "Remote Disk", however, drilling into the "Network" directory does not show my local NAS as a connectable server. I have done everything to get this to work including doing a clean install of 10.4.2, to no avail. There were no issues in 10.14.1 release. Is anyone else having similar issues?

I don't see my MBP, which is on the same LAN, in Finder's sidebar. (and yes, I do have the necessary items checked for the sidebar in Finder's Preferences). I don't see it when I click on Network, either. I can connect to it just fine (Command-K), but is disappears from the sidebar when I eject it. The MBP does show in the sidebar of Pathfinder, however.

What happens here nearly after every upgrade/major update is this:

(under "If you add automount triggers to the Finder sidebar, the Finder may intermittently remove them")

In general I cannot say that my network connection (a link aggregation in my case) became more stable under Mojave, quite the contrary I have to say, unfortunately.
