10.15.1 Still Feels A Bit Pokey on MBP 2019 8 core

I have a really fast Mac. 8 core 2.4 2019 MBP with 32gb RAM. I run a bunch of small apps and dont use that much.

10.15.1 should absolutely smoke on this thing and over all it does but the polish on animations like in the Messages and and stuff just isn't there. Its so irritating that this hardware is so kick ass and they just aren't doing the job they used to with the software.

I updated to 10.15.1 and iMessage signed me out and reset all of my settings such as read receipts etc. What kind of update is this?
