10.15.6 - Power saving - screens (MBP, external) don't switch off

Have a single external monitor with MBP on a stand. After updating to 10.15.6 the screensaver shows but the screens don't switch off as before.

Ideas?
 
Is anyone having issues where a Mac's screen and external monitor should (i.e. used to) go into power saving mode? Seems that the screens saver works, but the power saver doesn't turn them off.
