Hi all, I wanted to let you know that I have found the cause of the many crashes of my Dual 867 since I had installed the 10.2.3 upgrade. My Mac had become a real nightmare but all needed to be done was to update the firmware. I had indeed noticed that there was an update however I thought it would be taken care with the OS update. I was wrong. Now, at least so far, it looks like my Mac is back to where it belongs: no probs, no crashes, no questions asked !

By the way, does this make sense to those of you better techies ?

I am very happy.

However, I do wonder, all these frequent (more or less) updates, yes they do give us improvements most times but they are a real pain in the behind. And I had no idea that a non up to date frimware would cause such huge problems.

ciao ~
