10.2.6 question

I just did a marathon OS update, i was using 10.2.3 and i did all the updates, now im using 2.6 and when i try to move stuff in and out of my hard drive, it cant be modified (little white circle with line through it, how can i fix this, is there a patch, or perhaps another update?

It sounds like disk permissions have been modified. Try running /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility to verity disk permissions.
