10.3.7 causing Digital Audio Probs

Since installing 10.3.7, I'm getting all kinds of abnormalities with my audio- mainly, there will be no audio! Have to go to system prefs, change the device from "Digital Out" to "Internal Speaker" and back again to get it to work.

Anyone else having this problem?
