I'm going around work today and we have a few machines still running 10.3.9. Back at home I have a machine with it as well and I installed the time zone update using Software Update. I've tried to do that on the machines here but it doesn't so up nor does it in the Software Update logs.

Does anyone know if Apple has a standalone updater for time zones for 2006? I've Googled it to death.

Our 10.4.x machines were just updated to 10.4.5 so I don't need to worry about them.

The time zone stuff is in the /usr/share/zoneinfo directory. If Apple haven't packaged an update, perhaps you could zip up that from a patched machine and move it over to an older system? It would be a good idea before replacing to diff a few files here and there, to make sure they didn't do anything odd to the file format.

Eh, I might just upgrade those machines to 10.4 anyways. It's only 3 computers. I'll look into what you suggested.
