10.4.10 / PowerPC Security Update (Jun 26) - SLOW COMPUTER

Hi,

I've got an iBook G4 and ever since I installed the 2 most recent updates (the 2nd was only for PowerPC users) my notebook has been super slow. Anyone else having the same problem? It was only a few hourse between the installs so I don't know which of the updates it was, or if it's the combination of the two. Any ideas? Thanks,

• Is Activity Monitor finding anything that's using up a lot of your CPU or RAM? Make sure to check All Processes, not just the default My Processes.
• Do you have plenty of free space on the hard drive?
• What apps are you using?
• What hardware is plugged in?
• If you create a new user account in System Preferences, do the problems follow you over?
