10.4.10/SR MBP question

I've got a friend who's buying a new MBP very soon (possibly today). I don't want them to ugprade to 10.4.10 unless it's safe to to so. Would it be wiser for the MBP to just be left with the update it's on?

What version of 10.4 were the SR MBPs when you picked one up?

There's really nothing to worry about with 10.4.10. Yes, people have had a few problems but overall the update has been pretty smooth.

im not sure wat version they come with. summin round 8??? i dont have one so ud have 2 find out.
upgrade to 10.4.10 if ya want, should b alllll schweet

I didn't have any problems when I updated to 10.4.10. And I'm sure that the number of people with problems is less than you think it is. This is because people are more likely to post about their problems than when the update goes smoothly.
