My system is acting strangely after a software update (Java r5, QT 7, DVD/CD Sharing, and Security 2008-007). I'd rather not do a reinstall, so I'm looking for a simpler solution. The most obvious problems are in System Preferences and wireless connectivity: the password to my wifi network isn't being stored, or can't be accessed by airport, so I have to connect manually each time; and when I open up Network in System Preferences, the options dialog won't open when I am trying to change airport settings.

Here are some errors from the console log:
Code:
Dec 15 19:17:51 mymac configd[45]: SecKeychainFindGenericPassword err= -25308 ( =0xffff9d24, secErrStr=User interaction is not allowed. ) (current= wifinetwork-SSID)

Code:

I'll probably reinstall at this point because it's taking up too much of my time as it is.
