Hey, I'm fairly new to the mac osx realm. I've used programs that I also use in windows fine, but as far as osx is concerned, I'm fairly clueless. Long story short, bought a MBP 2.0 1gb. It's an amazing machine, but...

I've been having issues w. 10.4.8, most noteably the popular airport droppage.
I could live with reastablishing my connection every time, etc... But it's just all of the additional other little issues with the mac and third party software that i've noticed cropping up with .8 that make me mad. I've been noodling around looking for a way to roll back the install, or reinstall the OS.

My basic question is this... Is there any way to reinstall .6 without wiping all of my third party program files. Documents I have backed up on an external, but I don't have the install discs with me for any of the third party software I installed, namely Adobe CS2 Suite (and won't for a few weeks).

Oh and I don't care what anyone says I like the new iTunes. :)
