just updated to 10.4.8

any noticable improvements from anyone? anything different?

Biggest change I think: the fact that it now says 10.4.8 in the "About this mac" window.

There have been severe enchancements to Open GL. A guy here got an extra 100 FPS after 10.4.8.

I dunno if it's me, but Word feels snappier, Safari however doesn't, though they updated Webcore/Webkit.

Well you can hold down controll and zoom in and out with your scroll wheel/two finger scrolling. I thought that was pretty cool.

What exactly does 100 FPS mean?

LOL, nearly 5 years using OS X and I've never tried zooming before  :)

Niiiice.

Frames per second, or the number of times a screen re-draws itself every second. Many people argue that a game is only smooth at 30fps, however there´s continuing debate as to what´s "playable" as it varies for each person.

I didn´t see the post, but a boost of 100fps is absolutely massive. I´m sceptical.
