10.4.9 Stability Issues?

Hello all,

Since I installed 10.4.9 on my 2.33 MBP, I have been having problems and I was wondering If anyone could offer any suggestions

When I click with 2 fingers (right click) on my track pad when Im in the finder or on the desktop (usually on an icon) it appears that the finder randomly relaunches. This never happened untill I installed the update a few weeks ago.

Any Ideas?

Did you install the Quicktime update at the same time?

I've heard of similar problems with the Quicktime update that came out a little while ago.

Yes I did,.. Is there a quick way to roll that back?

Any other possible causes?

The only other common cause of that I can think of is StuffIt...but I thought they had fixed that problem. Do you have StuffIt installed?

Yeah, but I had it for a month or so before the update

nice, I was reading that just now. I deleted the stuffit plugin in the contextual menu Items folder and it *seems* to have solved my problem.

I deleted the Stuffit file in my contexual menu items also. File name ,StuffItCM.plugin. Just wondering why the file Kind says idVD 2 Project? What does this file do?
