A friend of mine has a powerbook and he needs to reinstall his OS (10.4) but he's PB came with 10.3 dvd

I've got a 10.4 .dmg file whichs contains the 10.4 tiger installation (made it a while ago as a backup)

Is there a way to use the .dmg to install Tiger on my friends Powerbook without burning a dvd fromt he .dmg file?
(it's more that 4gigabyte in size, so I need a doublelayer..)

any help would be HOT!

That to me, reads as you not having another licensed CD/DVD of OS X to give to your friend. As in, this likely isn't legal. I'll close this thread for now, feel free to contact a mod if this isn't the case and we'll re-open this thread, then.
