Currently running OS 10.3.9 both my laptops, but need to get with the programme and get 10.4 and then upgrade to iLife 06. Need the widescreen in iDVD.

Question is, can I load 10.4 onto both my computers or do I need to splash out extra for the family version? I don't need anything like 5 instalations. Can I do 2 on the standard software?

Thanks...

Even though it's just me?

Another question.... how would they know? Do you have to register online?

Some other programmes I run, such as Final Draft, have a licence for 2 computers, which suits me fine.

They don't know: nothing stops you doing it apart from the license. It doesn't matter that it's just you: you are buying a license to a single install. It's only a tiny amount more to buy the family pack and be fully licensed.

What other companies do is irrelevant.
