Since .2, it seems at random my desktop icons will freeze and can't be moved, clicked, or selected.

a killall Dock fixes this, but it's quite annoying. Anyone else?

This is still happening and I can't figure out why. The icons on the desktop for files and such are there, but when I drag my mouse to select them nothing happens and they aren't clickable. Is it just me?

I'm getting the same issue with 10.5.2. I can do anything with my mac apart from doing anything with the icons on my desktop.

I would love to see a solution to this problem.

Every morning I have the same on 10.5.5 (I leave the iMac running 24/24H) ...
... but I discovered that the running icon on the dock are availables and I can click on they (e.g. I have Firefox still open and I can use it).

This unlock the situation and all the icon on the desktop start to work again :)
