Just updated to 10.5.3 and I still can't see shared folders?? :(

Am I missing something?

anyone?

I guess it was two hours, sorry for that. None the less thread bumping is frowned upon especially in less than a 24 hour period. Anyways I hope you get your problem sorted out.

So did this resolve your problem with "shared folders"? Your initial post was a little vague as a problem description.

I am trying it now, but it is giving me errors saying it can't find anything.

My initial problem was that the shared folder in the finder wasn't showing, I haven't had to set it up before it's normally just there before 10.5.2

If its not showing up then you are most likely experiencing a network problem like your in the wrong workgroup or something along those lines...

I have to say that this problem affects me, too. I have 3 Macs, one Dell.
The Mac running 10.3.9 can see the Dell.
The Mac running 10.4.11 can see the Dell.
The Mac running 10.5.3 can only see the Dell if I go to "Connect to server" and enter the Dell's IP address. This seems like a giant step backwards if Panther can find the Dell, but Leopard shows me nothing in the sidebar (well, except for the other Macs).

Can anyone offer suggestions? I can find no real solution anywhere.
