since 10.5.3 the fans of my 2,33 ghz mbp kick in on the slightest cpu usage.
they tend to stay at 6000rpm very long. no processes are running wild.
things i tried that didn´t help:
- p/vmram-reset
- smc reset
- spotlight reindexing
- running maintenance scripts (using onyx)
- deleting cache/temp/powermanagement.plist
- repairing permissions
10.5.4 didn´t fix that either, and while i could easily revert to 10.5.2 (where everything was fine and the fans stayed at 2000rpm most of the time),
i enjoy the snappy gui, core animation and finder...
i´ve read about several people having this issue, but on here nobody has?
no?
