We have 2 printers: Canon MP610 & HP LaserJet 8000N. Our internet access is wirelessly via Verizon's USB 727 AirCard modem. We can print documents directly to either printer via ethernet when we are NOT online. However, once we are online via USB 727 AirCard, we canNOT print to our preferred economical HP printer. We receive an error that AppleTalk is switched OFF. If we switch AppleTalk ON, it turns OFF VZAcess Manager (Verizon s.w. for USB 727 AirCard) and disconnects us. We do NOT get AppleTalk error message with Canon printer, and can print while online. How can we solve problem with printing to older AppleTalk printer via ethernet?
We are using Local Zone (localhost) and HP driver version 4.3.5.153
