Hello.
I just noticed that since 10.5.7 shell scripts in StartupItems won't be started anymore! What can I do?
I have a simple script that enables the ipfw-firewall in addition to the Firewall that comes with Leopard. I've created the directory in /Library/StartupItems/Firewall/ and named the shell-script-file Firewall and also put a StartupParameters.plist file in the same directory. It worked without any problems until I updated to 10.5.7. Now the script isn't been loaded anymore. What can I do? Another daemon which is in /Library/StartupItems/fand/ still works but is a program written in C.
I don't want to be without a Firewall in the background!
