Hi guys!
I used to spend a lot of time on these forums years ago, but not as much lately.
The issue I'm having has to do with a PowerMac G5 on a Windows network.
I have used Directory Utility to bind the machine to Active Directory, and that worked fine.
I can log in with the Windows credentials for the user, BUT 10.5 will not retain any preferences for the user at all.
I can not copy any files to the desktop, etc. It states I do not have sufficient privileges. If I go into system preferences and set the mouse to use the right button as secondary click, it does not enable and does not retain the preference. On and on...
If I log in as a local administrator and go to accounts, I can indeed tell it to allow the network user to administer the machine....but it doesn't make a difference.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
