hello, I have a DA power Mac G4, 1ghz . I am trying to install MacOSX 10.5 on it. I have a new DVD drive. Max ram, SSD. I have a copied DVD of the retail disk of 10.5. The problem I’m having is during install after going through the pre-install process, the installer starts installing and goes for about 20mins. After about 20 percent of progress i get a failed install window with a message about “failed to verify essentials pkg” .
What i have tried already:
1 swapped RAM
2. Disconnected any usb devices

also, i have an ide/ssd adapter
