Very interesting...

I can't quite believe this is real, but some of the stuff mentioned and pictured certainly seems more plausible than that found in other Leopard fakes...

There are most likely not real, but I would LOVE to have the Dashboard Widgets mountable on the desktop. I have a few of Yahoo!'s Widgets on my desktop now and I find it much more convenient to look at them that way, rather than having to switch to the Dashboard.

You can put widgets on the Desktop already by enabling developer mode.

Any way you could provide a few more details about that? Like what you do after you enable the developer mode? It definitely sounds like something I would be interested in doing!

I'd say someone's yanking your chain, given apples history of secretsy I can't see them starting a viral campaign for something like this. Maybe a new iPod campaign ala Gabbo from the simpsons where it's in your face. But sending people to message boards seems very un-apple.

i think it should be easier. some switchers & not so computer literate (or wahateveR) mac users are scared of things like terminal. it needs to be more....user friendly like the rest of thee system. and in developer mode you can only have 1 widget on the desktop.

Just go to dashboard, drag a new widget, but before you let go, close dashboard. The widget will stick to the desktop. It's that easy..no dev. mode.

only one is lame.

Think they are fake as well. Few cool features, but very un-apple like if you ask me. Where is the apple menu, and the dock? the idea of having minmized apps on the desktop though does seem neat.
