Not sure if it's a coincidence but since i updated to 10.6.2 but when i try to back-up my files to my time machine, half way through it ejects it and back up fails.

Anyone else had issues with this or anyone know how to fix this.
ive done checks in the disk utility and have all come back fine.

Thanks for the help

What do you mean by "when i try to back-up my files to my time machine". Are you doing it manually rather than just letting it do it automatically? Or do you just mean when you click on 'back up now' ? Do automatic backups work?

I'm on 10.6.2 and automatic/'back up now' are working fine for me.

UPDATE; I'm using a USB attached HD dedicated to TM rather than a wireless TM unit.

My Time Machine performance has sunk. It copies about 1 MB in a couple of minutes. I haven't had a chance to diagnose it yet, nor did I let it try to get halfway through, but I am experiencing a Time Machine issue as well.

FWIW, I even wired myself to the AEBS and had issues.
