MacPro Jan 2008
16 GB mac RAM
2x3 GHz Quad-Core

I installed 10.6.2 a little while ago - said it was successful and then began startup loading.....then screen went white and it hung. Waited and waited....finally gave up and turned it off, then on. This time it came up correctly, but had to detect second display, and also reset output speaker.

Did same update on macbook pro with no issues.

Anyone else have similar problem? Thanks.

I have the exact setup on my MacPro...Mine rebooted without any probs...But did have to mess with my audio output settings..Hope it fixes all my probs....

I ran disk warrior - it found a bunch of errors and fixed them - think I'm ok now.

I just founf that when my MacPro goes to sleep then awakes, the sound no longer is set to my external speakers and have to change it manually...I guess its better that crashing !!!!!:D
