10.6.4 to 10.6.6 MAIL problems

Well I have done the upgrade twice now to try & fix the problems I am having. I use the app mail a lot as i'm sure most of us do. but when ever I open Mail in 10.6.6 it say's it is not compatible with my operating system.

is anyone else having this problem? I will most likely bump it back to 10.6.4 but I was wondering if their is any download from apple that could fix this. The app store is alright I can definitely live without it but no with out my MAIL

Have you done the regular stuff like repairing permissions, zapping nvram?

My upgrade from 10.6.5 to 10.6.6 went without issue and mail is not causing me any problems.

Get the combo update (> 1GB) and apply it if repairing permissions does not correct the issue.

well i'm an idiot, I had mail in a shortcut folder on the dock and a new version was placed in the application folder. So I guess their was never a problem.
